WELCOME FUNshawers! You’re in for an exhilarating year here at
Fanshawe College. I promise you that this will be the best time of your life. Let’s start off with
some advice to follow:
1. Do your homework and befriend your teachers (trust us it’ll be worth
it in the end)
2. Make new friends (make sure they’re not too much of a partier or you’ll regret
it later)
3. Join clubs and teams (there are many clubs and teams you can join, just ask around)
The team is a group of students who use dance to express their Fanshawe fervor. Combining hip hop, breaking, popping and
jazz, choreography is continually changing to reflect current dance trends and keep things fresh. It not only
gives students school spirit, but it also teaches members responsibility and real-world skills just like any
other sport. This team needs members, who will be punctual for any practice, participate in giving new ideas, and open
for new experience.
This will be the 4th year for the Falcon Dancers and it is going to be BIGGER and BETTER. Examples of
events that we will be arranging are Annual Carwash, Fashion Show, Co-sponsored Pub, and of course the many get
together and home games that the dancers always enjoy.
Many events can incur various costs including
uniform, gas money to and from events, and the students can’t afford all the costs, and that’s why we need your help. If
you’re interested in sponsoring the Falcon Dancers or know of companies or small business looking to sponsor a team, please
