FSU Underage Access Policy
Home > Food Services > FSU Underage Access Policy All full-time Fanshawe students under 19 years of age are allowed in the Out Back Shack for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They will be registered as underage and are not allowed to consume any alcohol.Underage Fanshawe students will be admitted to some of the evening FSU licensed events. Underage students must surrender their valid student card at the entrance. At this time they receive special wristbands that must not be removed until they leave the event plus the back of both hands will be marked with a large X. The underage Fanshawe student can attend this licensed event but may not handle/hold or consume any alcoholic beverage. As they exit/leave, it is their responsibility to pick up their valid student card. If they show no signs of intoxication and all of their underage identification is intact, we will return their student card. The FSU holds their own liquor license, if any full-time Fanshawe underage student violates our trust, handles or consumes any amount of alcohol, they put our license and liability at risk!!! There are strict and severe penalties for the handling or consumption of alcohol by any Fanshawe underage students. FSU Underage Access Penalties One month suspension of privileges for failure to pick up valid student card as they exit the event. Two month suspension for removal of wristbands or markings on the back of your hands Three month suspension of privileges for handling of alcoholic beverages One year suspension of privileges for consumption of alcoholic beverages. Any repeat offences automatic one year ban. NOTE: We will not allow any underage individual in our evening licensed events if they are not a registered full-time Fanshawe student. Tweet |
