My name is Veronica Barahona and I’m your 2011-2012 FSU President. I’ve been at Fanshawe for 4 years now and I was a student in the Business Marketing 2 year program, the Business Administration Marketing Post Grad program and the Corporate Communication & PR Post Grad program this past year. I’ve met some of the most amazing people while at Fanshawe and my hope is that you will too!
Most of you are probably wondering what I do as FSU President, it’s not like high school where we JUST plan the cool events on campus... we do so much more! I was elected to make sure that every student at Fanshawe is informed about all of the services and programs that are offered at the College and the Student Union. We handle your bus pass, your health & dental plan, events on campus geared towards all students and so much more. Most of these services are funded by YOU directly (your student fees) so it really only makes sense to take advantage of everything you can.
If you are unsure about anything, have any problems, questions or concerns, come see us. We’re here to help. Take a minute and drop by the office and meet the rest of the VPs and staff that are here to make the year run smoothly!
Lastly, get involved! We’re always looking for volunteers and this is a great way to meet people! Make your time at Fanshawe one to look back on and remember as the best time of your life.
