For the first two weeks of each semester (not including summer), the FSU runs a consignment Used Book Shop.
Students can bring in their used textbooks to sell and they can also buy used textbooks at discounted prices.
Drop off your books
You can drop off books that you would like to sell during the following dates:
December 2nd to December 16th, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM at the FSU Office (SC 2001 in the
Student Centre)
January 4th to January 8th, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM at the FSU Office (SC 2001 in the Student Centre)
January 11th to January 15th, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Used Book Shop (Room 1034 in the Student Union Building)
(once you have dropped off books, they remain in the shop until the pick up date)
Buy books The Used Book Shop in SUB 1035 (beside the Biz Booth) will be selling books between
January 11th to January 21st (Monday to Friday only) from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Pick up unsold books If your books don’t sell, you can pick them up during the following
dates:
January 25th to January 28th from 9 AM to 4 PM in SUB 1035
January 29th from 9 AM to Noon in SUB 1035
* Please note that books not picked up become the property of the
FSU
Pick up your cheques You can pick up your cheques for any sold items between
February 1st to February 5th from 9 AM to 4 PM in SC 2001.
Important Information - Read It!!!
There will be NO REFUNDS!! Make sure
you purchase the correct book.
We are not responsible for the condition of the book
Books can only be picked up on the specified dates - after that they will become the property of the FSU
(NO EXCEPTIONS)
The final day to pick up unsold books is January 29th before noon in SUB 1035!!
You must KEEP YOUR RECEIPT in order to pick up your money and/or books.
The Student Union will be charging $1.00 per book sold to help offset the overhead costs.
