Used Book Shop


FSU Used Book Shop hours of operation

Drop off your books

You can drop off any textbooks that you would like to sell during the following dates:
  • January 8th through January 19th, 2018: Weekdays, 9 AM to 4 PM in the FSU Office (SC 1000)
  • January 22nd and January 23rd, 2018: 9 AM to 6 PM in the Used Book Shop (SUB 1016)
  • January 24th through January 29th, 2018: Weekdays, 9 AM to 4 PM in the Used Book Shop (SUB 1016)
Once you have dropped off your books, they remain in the Used Book Shop until the indicated pick-up date.

Buy Books

  • January 22nd and January 23rd, 2018: 9 AM to 6 PM in the Used Book Shop (SUB 1016)
  • January 24th through February 2nd, 2018: Weekdays, 9 AM to 4 PM in the Used Book Shop (SUB 1016)

Pick up unsold books

If your books don’t sell, you can pick them up during the following dates in the Used Book Shop (SUB 1016):
  • February 5th through February 8th, 2018: 9 AM to 4 PM
  • February 9th, 2018: 9 AM to 12 PM
* Please Note: Please note that books not picked up become the property of the Fanshawe Student Union.

Pick up your cheques

If you sold books, you can pick up your cheque between February 12th and February 16th, 2018 from 9 AM to 4 PM in the FSU Office (SC 1000).

Important Information

  • We are not responsible for the condition of the book.
  • Books can only be picked up on the specified dates - after that they will become the property of the FSU (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
  • The final day to pick up unsold books is February 9th, 2018 before noon in SUB 1016!!
  • You must KEEP YOUR RECEIPT in order to pick up your money and/or books.
  • The Student Union will be charging $1.00 per book sold to help offset the overhead costs.
  • The FSU has the right to refuse certain books.
