Doth Not Despise Me

Doth not despise me when I am old
Unable to walk with my old legs
Doth not despise me when I am poor
Begging on the streets for some bread
Doth not despise me when my beauty of youth has left me
When ones I was handsome and you admired me
Doth not despise me when I am sick and diseased
That you cannot sit next to my bed and be with me
But in all this my dear remember me as I was
Young and carefree promising you my heart

Glass Bottle

I took a glass bottle and sealed it
In it I put
My pulse showing that you beat within my heart
I poured my blood in it to show that we are one
I kissed a piece of paper imprinting my lips upon it
I cut a piece of my flesh which you have kissed a thousand times
Then I breathed into it and gave you my soul
Knowing fully that I can't live without

Science

I desire with my mind and heart
Knowing fully that my spirit delights in thee
I understand with reason being a human
Yet I have faith beyond the reason of science
I reflected an image of a mad man
When I express my undying affection towards thee
For my love does not come forth from my human mind
It flows from my spirit
My inspiration was not born from my mind
It came forth loving from my spirit
My desires, hopes and dreams came not from my body
But from deep within my soul
So how can I doubt my spirit when it express's foreign feelings
When I know my dear that we are parted in years and by death
