Whether this is your first semester, your final year, or somewhere in between, I’m excited to welcome you to a new academic year and everything that comes with it.

As your Fanshawe Student Union President, my goal this year is simple: to make sure students feel heard, supported, connected, and represented.

College is about more than what happens in the classroom. It’s about the people you meet, the experiences you have, the challenges you overcome, and the community you build along the way. Your FSU is here to be part of that journey.

Throughout the year, our team will be focused on priorities that directly impact students, including food security, mental health and wellness, employment opportunities, affordability, and strengthening the overall student experience. You’ll also see opportunities to get involved through events, clubs, volunteer experiences, advocacy initiatives, and conversations about the issues that matter to you.

My biggest encouragement to you this year is to get involved and use your voice. Attend an event. Join a club. Volunteer. Meet someone new. Ask for support when you need it. And most importantly, tell us what is working, and what needs to change.

I’ll also be sharing regular updates throughout the year on our progress, the work happening behind the scenes, and how we are moving our commitments forward.

Cheers to a year of new opportunities, meaningful connections, and moving Fanshawe Forward together.

Welcome to the Falcon community. I look forward to seeing you around campus! One Love!
