YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE!

In order to nominate yourself to run for an elected position with the Fanshawe Student Union (FSU), you must first watch the three modules below, as well as complete a short quiz to test your knowledge. Once you have passed the quiz, you will receive a certificate of completion. You’ll need to hold on to this in order to complete your nomination package, which will be available in early 2025.

MODULE ONE: An introduction to the Fanshawe Student Union (FSU), takes you through the basics of the FSU’s history and services.

MODULE TWO: Student governance

MODULE TWO: Student governance provides a breakdown of the FSU’s operating structure. We’ll discuss the role of the Executive Team, the work of the Student Administrative Council, and dive into the FSU’s by-laws and Strategic Direction.

MODULE THREE: Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) Elections

MODULE THREE: Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) Elections takes an in-depth look at how and when elections are held at the FSU. Find out all you need to know about running for FSU President and the FSU Board of Directors, as we cover everything from nominations, to campaigning, to debating.
