The 2026 Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) Elections will be held between Sunday, March 1 at 9:00 a.m. and Wednesday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m. Fanshawe College students vote online through FanshaweOnline (FOL) to elect the FSU President, the FSUs Board of Directors, and one student to represent them on the colleges Board of Governors.
Nominations open for the 2026 FSU Elections on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Follow these steps to run for office:The President is an employee and officer of the Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) from May 1 of the year elected until April 30 of the following year. The President shall be the voice of the Members and the spokesperson and official representative of the Student Union to the general public, governmental bodies, the Members, Fanshawe College, and third parties (such as other student organizations). Up to 8 Directors are elected by the Members to represent all full-time Fanshawe College students on the Student Administrative Council (S.A.C.) Board of the Fanshawe Student Union (FSU). As Directors of the Board, they are responsible for defining the strategic goals to be implemented by the operations of the FSU and always act in the best interests of the Student Union as a whole. The Board of Governors Student Representative is elected by Fanshawe students for a one (1) year term, with a limit of two terms. The Fanshawe College Board of Governors uses policy-driven governance to provide policies that emphasize values, vision, empowerment of both Board and staff, and the strategic ability to lead leaders.
