Samuel Nelly Ismaila

I am Samuel Nelly Ismaila (a.k.a Samnelly), currently in the Fashion Design program. As your Director, I’m passionate about creating inclusive spaces where you feel safe, heard, and supported. With a strong background in fashion design and experience in other fields, I believe I can make a difference in our college, staff, and students. I understand that success comes with hard work and determination, but without a voice, their success is not worth the cost.

With our collaboration as a student and the Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) Board of Directors, I believe we can grow a greater school community where we all strive and support each other to greater success.

Hey Falcons!

I’m Agrim Thakur, a Developmental Services Worker (DSW) student at Fanshawe College and a member of the Fanshawe Student Union Board of Directors. My journey from running a business to returning to school reflects resilience, discipline and a strong drive to grow. Abrar Ul Hoque
Director

Abrar Ul Hoque (Secretary)

Hello Fanshawe, I’m Abrar Ul Hoque, a student in the Automotive Technology and Motive Power Trades program and a current FSU Director.

I focus on turning student concerns into clear, practical action. As a former Class Representative and International Student Ambassador, I’ve worked directly with Associate Deans and Advisors to push issues forward and improve communication. I listen, follow up, and make sure things don’t get ignored. I care about fairness, accountability, and changes that actually make student life easier. If something needs to be addressed, I’ll bring it to the table and see it through.

And finally, if you see me on campus, don’t hesitate to say hi, most real improvements start from simple conversations.
