Participant Consent & Agreement Form

Thank you for your interest in participating in Fanshawe Battle of the Bands! Please review the following information and confirm your agreement before submitting your band’s entry.

1. Contest Rules and Eligibility

I confirm that the information provided in my band’s submission is accurate and complete. I understand that my band must meet the contest’s eligibility requirements and agree to follow all event rules, guidelines, and instructions provided by the organizers.

2. Photography, Video and Promotional Consent

I understand that photographs, video recordings, and other media may be captured during Battle of the Bands.

I grant permission for the event organizers to use photographs and recordings featuring me, where applicable, for purposes related to promoting, documenting, and reporting on the event, including on social media, websites, and other promotional materials.

I understand that my name, band name, and submitted promotional links may also be used to promote the event.

3. Performance and Original Content

I confirm that my band has the necessary rights or permissions to perform the music included in our submission and contest performance. I understand that the band is responsible for obtaining any permissions required for original material, covers, samples, or other copyrighted content, as applicable.

4. Conduct and Safety

I agree to treat other performers, organizers, volunteers, staff, and attendees respectfully. I understand that unsafe behaviour, harassment, or failure to follow event rules may result in removal from the event or disqualification, subject to the organizers’ applicable policies.

5. Event Participation

I understand that submitting an application does not guarantee selection to perform. If selected, my band agrees to communicate with the organizers regarding scheduling, soundcheck, performance requirements, and other event logistics.

6. Acknowledgement and Consent

By checking the boxes below, I confirm that I have read and understood the statements above and agree to the applicable contest requirements.
