Post a photo to one of your social media accounts showcasing your culture, use the hashtag #MapYourHeritage and tag fanshawesu for a chance to win a $50.00 Amazon gift card. See the Contest rules section below for more details.
Culture is not just about where you come from. It is about what shapes your identity and worldview. Your photo should highlight what your unique culture means to you.
The contest runs from Monday, June 16, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. through Friday, June 27, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
You can post the photo on Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads or Snapchat. You can put it in your story if you wish. If your account is private, you can send us a screenshot of your post to ensure that we receive your entry.
Submitted photos may be published on FSU social media accounts.
To be eligible to win the $50.00 Amazon gift card, you must be a full-time Fanshawe College student in Summer 2025.
A random draw will occur on Monday, June 30, 2025 from all entries received and one student will be selected to receive the $50.00 Amazon gift card. The winner will be contacted through a direct message on the social media platform through which their photo was submitted. The name of the winner will also be posted at fsu.ca/contests
