On June 11, the FSU presented a World Cup Kickoff Party in Forwell Hall, at which the first game of the tournament (Mexico vs. South Africa) was shown, and popcorn was served. Then on June 12, pizza was served as students watched the first ever World Cup game in Canada, as Canada took on Bosnia and Herzegovina
