Goal of the Club: This club aims to help students improve their French reading comprehension and conversational speaking skills by providing interactive activities such as role-plays, reading circles, games, and cultural discussions through club meetings. By the end of each semester, the number of participating students should be around 60 and show at least a 20 percent improvement in their French reading fluency and conversational confidence, measured through short oral assessments and reading exercises. Activities will be designed for beginner to intermediate learners, using short, engaging texts and structured speaking prompts that make language practice accessible and non-intimidating. The club will meet bi-monthly for 2 hours, balancing students’ academic workload while ensuring consistent practice. Support materials (short stories, dialogues, and vocabulary lists) will be provided to keep progress steady.
