The Sharing Shop provides full time Fanshawe College students, in a short-term need of assistance, with grocery items, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
The Sharing Shop receives donations from students, staff and outside sources, enabling us to provide these items to students in temporary need.
Current students of Fanshawe College are welcome to visit the Sharing Shop up to 3 times per semester with valid student ID.

Sign up on the Volunteer Portal
Students that are able to dedicate 2 hours per week - all semester, are encouraged to apply for a volunteer position.
Position expectations: Adept with Excel, able to process incoming donations, inventory, cleaning, open and closing duties, follow instructions, communicate effectively, 20 lbs lifting and other duties as required.
How else you can help?
You can also drop off non-perishable food items, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

- Campus Book Store, F1002
- Counselling and Accessibility Services, F2010
- Library and Media Services, L1003

Wednesdays during the month of March between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., The Sharing Shop (SUB1015 in the Student Union Building, near Forwell Hall) is accepting fresh produce and frozen foods. Donations collected will go into the fridges/freezers in The Sharing Shop.
